Hey! Things are going well out here in Benidorm! My new comp, Hermana Garcia is fantastic! Her spanish is awesome (she lived in guatemala for 4 years) and she has such a positive attitude! She´s so nice and is always complimenting and encouraging me, I lucked out, I just love her!
She came straight from the Provo MTC, but she´s adjusted to the time change quickly. We have had lots of good experiences already in our first few days! She teaches really well and asks inspired questions, I´ve seriously got a lot to learn from her.
Our branch president asked us both to speak yesterday (seriously this poor branch has got to be so sick of the missionaries speaking I´m trying to think of a tactful way to say, ´´maybe you need to ask the members first and if they cant we will.´´ haha I like speaking but it´d probably be nice to give some others a chance..). It was funny cuz it was just her 1st sunday! I could´ve never done that, i still barely can, but yeah she rocked it! I spoke about the Angel Moroni appearing to Joseph Smith, because 191 years ago yesterday he appeared to Joseph for the first time to tell him about the Book of Mormon. I mostly just focused on how him repenting led to that experience and how we can each recieve revealation when we humble ourselves and repent. It was good times...
There´s not tons to say about this week. We had some incredible lessons and the spirit was so strong. We´ve seen lots of tender mercies.
Going back to the mission home was a blast! Seriously some of the funnest couple days I´ve had on the mission. Hna Grant and I and other elders took the 9 hour bus ride down there, and it was a party! Oh and the p´day before that Hna grant and I got pizza and talked for hours, ah, it was the greatest. I miss her so much. But i´m just grateful I got to spend three months with her here, we had some of the best times!
But yeah the ride down was fun, and being there was just a party, seeing tons of other missionaries (which i´m not used to being all the way out here in Benidorm) so i just went crazy trying to meet and talk to everyone! There were two elders going to be trained in Almería and I told them they´re going to the best city in the world, and it was fun talking to the Elder´s who are there now. The ride back was a party too, I just love the missionaries in this mission! Seriously they´re the funnest. It was great.
But yeah, life´s good, the work´s hard but so fun! Thanks for your prayers!
Love, Hermana Miller
