Happy CONFERENCE WEEKEND gente!

So this last week was great! Conference was basically the best thing ever and man, just what I needed!  Also our talk in concilio went well, we felt really good about what we did! Then when we had to give it again it wasn´t quite as good, but it still went fine. Haha, it was about the importance of the area book and organizing it...because guess what?! WE´RE GETTING iPADS. So yeah, finally, we will have that tool of sharing the gospel in an even more effective way and i´m so excited it´s going to change everything! I am grateful I get to be around to see this switch. We will get them the second week of may, and I´ll get to participate in the switch for a couple weeks and then have to leave it. But we have a couple of general authorities, Elders Allen and Dyke coming to introduce them to us and train us at the beginning of may. I just have a testimony that we have the technology we have to help advance the work of the Lord, and even though there are risks that come along with such a huge tool, I know that this is what the Lord wants us to do- use technology to further His work so it reaches more of His children.

Speaking of technology- I also loved general conference and all of the references to technology and not wasting our time. I know I wasted so much time before my mission with technology, and I don´t want to go back there. I want to apply all the things I´ve learned here, and really I haven´t feel any empty holes in my life from not using all the technology I used before, so I just want to be smart and use my time wisely so I can achieve my full potential. Elder Bednars talk about fear was so written for me also.  I have been pretty sad and a little scared about coming home soon, I really have just fallen in love with my life here and I cant imagine it being any other way.  I really felt an overwhelming feeling that I need to just always keep my eyes focused on the Savior. As disciples of Jesus Christ our purpose never changes, we are always inviting others unto Him. It doesnt matter what the winds and waves of life bring- keep your gaze focused on Christ and maintain a ´´consistent focus on our heavenly destination.´´  I am enjoying and trying to take advantage of my time here, but it comforted me to hear his words.  I also loved how right before that the choir sang your favorite song dad! ´´I stand all amazed.´´ You could say that was Hna Read and I´s theme song for the week. We had several opportunities to learn more about the atonement through our weaknesses and imperfections, and it brought us closer together and closer to the Savior. I testify that He lives and that the relief that comes from repentance is so worth it! Some people don´t feel worthy to pray, whether it be for big or little things they´ve done. We know that´s a lie, but I know how it feels. Just to feel like you´re constantly falling short, and sometimes you know you even knew better before. That´s when it´s really hard. But I know that the Savior is our Healer. It isn´t always easy to humble ourselves and come unto Him, but I know by my personal experience that it is worth it. That relief is found in His arms.

I am so grateful for the resurrection! This past week has been ´´Semana Santa´´ and it is huge here in the Sevilla area! They have parades and images of Jesus and the Virgin Mary going through the streets all the time! It was crazy, we went out on our porch Thursday night and there was a parade and TONS of people in the streets. And it´s been like that all over town all week! I´ll have to send pics it was crazy! Haha, and on Friday morning we woke up at 7 30 and needed to take our trash down, so we get our exercise clothes on and go out and there are tons of people out there who had been up all night and the Virgin Mary was outside of our piso building! haha we were dying. But anyway, there was just a lot of focus on His death, which was so important, but I was grateful for the conference focus, on that He lives! The tomb is empty!

Love, Hermana Miller
